A very popular small savings scheme for the conscious saver. In this scheme customer will be able to deposit in affordable installments and on completion of the term customer will receive a very handsome amount.
TERMS AND CONDITION
Any Individual, Institution, NGO, Club, Society etc. can avail this scheme.
Account can be opened and operated singly or jointly as per client’s choice.
The period of deposit is for 3/5/7/10 years.
Installment size will be in multiples of 1,000/-.The maximum installment size will be 25,000/-.
Customer is eligible to open more than one account in the same branch.
Customer will pay installments through account payee cheque in the name of BLI Ltd. However, he has the option to give post dated cheque(s) /cash.
If a customer fails to pay 3 consecutive installments then the plan will cease to function and payment will be made as per clause#
For premature/forced encasement, for 1st year no interest will be paid but for 2nd year and beyond premature encasement rate will be 5% lower than agreed rate. A service charge of BDT 500/-will be applicable if en-cashed within first year.
The Depositor must nominate one or more individuals as nominee. In case of death, deposit will be en-cashed with applicable interest and paid to the nominee’s.
The account s shall be governed by the terms and conditions as contained herein and shall be subject to the laws of Bangladesh as applicable from time to time.BLI reserves the right to change rules as and when deemed necessary.
Maturity value is an indicative figure. Tax/Excise Duty will be deducted as per govt. rules.
Documents required to open an account Individuals: • Account Opening Form – duly filled in. • Proof of Source of Income (wherever applicable). • One photo of each applicant(s) and nominee(s). • Copy of NIDs of each applicant(s) and nominee(s). • Copy of Passport/ Driving License if NID not available. • Copy of E-TIN of each applicant(s).
Institutional: • Account Opening Form – duly filled in. • One photo of each applicant(s) and nominee(s). • Copy of NIDs of each applicant(s) and nominee(s). • Copy of Trade License / Memorandum of Article & AoA. • Certificate of Incorporation. • Board Resolution for opening the deposit account. • Form XII – wherever applicable. • Copy of E-TIN of the institution.
