Mr. Md. Golam Mahiuddin is a seasoned financial professional with over 17 years of experience in liability management and financial services. He was appointed Head of the Liability Management Department at Bay Leasing & Investment Ltd. (BLIL) in March 2024. Prior to joining BLIL, he served as Head of Liability at National Finance Ltd. and First Finance Ltd., as well as Manager and Head of Liability (Unit-2) at Peoples Leasing and Financial Services Ltd.
He began his career at United Finance Ltd. in 2009 and received the Best Employee of the Year Award in 2010 and 2011 in recognition of his outstanding performance. Throughout his career, he has developed strong expertise in liability management, deposit mobilization, business development, and customer relationship management.
Academically, he holds an Executive MBA in Marketing from East West University and BBS and MBS degrees in Accounting from National University. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Governance Studies at the University of Dhaka, further broadening his knowledge of governance and institutional leadership.
He has also undertaken professional training in leadership, motivation, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), sales, communication, and customer service. His professional achievements have earned him several medals and awards, reflecting his commitment to performance excellence, professional development, and quality service in the financial sector.
