Mrs. Fatema Zahir Majumder takes charge as the Chairman of Bay Leasing and Investment Ltd. It is worth noting that Fatema Zahir Majumder has served efficiently on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Bay-Leasing and Investment Limited for a long time. In addition, she is associated with various organizations in the country and abroad as a woman entrepreneur. After earning her Honors and Master's degrees, she also studied law. She has also obtained French language certification from Alliance Française de Dhaka. In addition, Fatema Majumder, a social welfare volunteer, is involved in various roles in several organizations including Gulshan Ladies Club, Language Proficiency Center, Tiger Tours Ltd., Blue Flying Academy and many others. She has been contributing as a communicative English language teacher for over two decades. She also plays an important role as a teacher for English language trainers at the American Center in Dhaka.
Mr. Abul Quasem is an Independent Director and member of the Board Audit Committee of Bay leasing and Investment Ltd. He completed his B.A. (Hons) and M.A. in Economics in 1967 and 1968 respectively from University of Dhaka. After a short stint as Lecturer in Economics at Govt. Victoria College, Cumil- la, B.M. College & Syed Hatem Ati College, Barisal, Mr. Quasem joined National Board of Revenue in 1975. Mr. Qusem has 27 years of experience in customs & VAT service and he was the First Secretary and Member of the NBR. In those capac- ities he became fully acquainted with the development at all levels of customs & VAT administration. He was involved in the formulation of Fiscal Budget of GOB. He was the head of Task force for the policy implementation of Custom Adminis- tration Modernization (CAM) project in the capacity of Member (Customs), NBR Mr. Quasem also worked as nominated Director of the Govt. in the Board of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel while he was Member in NBR and in Bangladesh Gas Field Co. Limited (BGFCL) while he was First Secretary, NBR.

He has held top executive positions including Chief Financial Officer, Group Finance Director, and Company Secretary across leading multinational and local organizations such as Karnaphuli Fertilizer Company Limited, DBL Group, Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, Holcim Cement (Bangladesh) Ltd., and ICB Islamic Bank Ltd. Currently serving as Group Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of Cross World Group, he provides strategic financial leadership, overseeing treasury, budgeting, investment planning, risk management, compliance, and capital structuring. Renowned for his expertise in corporate finance, ERP implementation, project financing, and regulatory engagement, Mr. Monju has played a pivotal role in large-scale investments, cross-border financing, and institutional strengthening. He holds a Master of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Dhaka and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999. His extensive experience and strategic insight make him a highly respected leader in Bangladesh’s finance and corporate sector.

Mr. Tareq Ahmed Salah Uddin Khan is a seasoned management consultant and development professional with over two decades of experience in SME sector development, project management, financial consulting, and entrepreneurship capacity building. As an Independent Director of Bay Leasing and Investment Ltd., he brings a strong combination of industry insight and development expertise.
Mr. Khan has collaborated extensively with international development partners, financial institutions, and government agencies on programs supported by the World Bank, Green Climate Fund (GCF), ILO, and other donor organizations. His professional portfolio includes key roles in the Program, Export Readiness Fund - a project under World Bank and Energy Efficiency in RMG Sector - a project under IDCOL.
Prior to his consulting career, Mr. Khan held senior roles in the financial sector at Union Capital Ltd., National Finance Ltd., MIDAS, and MIDAS Financing Ltd., contributing to product design, policy development, and institutional strengthening.
Mr. Khan holds a Master of Commerce degree from the University of Dhaka and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Consulting from the Institute of Management Consultants Bangladesh (IMCB), where he is an Associate Member. He has also received advanced training in risk management, entrepreneurship development, and project appraisal from institutions in Japan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Mohammad Rashedul Islam began his career as a Management Trainee Officer at IPDC in 2008, marking the start of a promising path in the financial industry. He subsequently served at BD Finance, further enhancing his exposure and expertise in the NBFI domain. In 2011, he joined Bay Leasing & Investment Limited, where he steadily rose through the ranks, notably serving as the Head of the Principal Branch.
A graduate in Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), he further augmented his credentials with an MBA from the prestigious Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. His blend of technical knowledge in his profession.
